Who this is for

Discretionary traders who already know basic chart structures — support and resistance, trends, simple candlestick context — but still open the day without a written plan, or who keep a journal that never changes tomorrow’s behaviour.

You might trade UK equities, FX pairs, or index futures. What matters is that you make your own decisions on the chart and want those decisions to sit inside a clearer session frame.

What you walk away with

By the end of the block you have:

  • A one-page session planning sheet tailored to your market hours and instruments
  • Written rules for marking levels, scenarios, and invalidation before you engage
  • A trade journal layout with columns that capture setup quality, plan adherence, and emotional notes without becoming a novel
  • Two reviewed sample sessions from your own trading (or from practice charts if you are between live activity)

What is included

  • Four private 90-minute sittings with a chart mentor
  • Pre-session homework: bring three charts and your current journal (paper or spreadsheet)
  • Between-sitting review notes on one plan and one journal entry you submit
  • Final written summary of your personal planning template

What is not included

  • Broker recommendations, signal lists, or managed accounts
  • Guarantees of returns or win-rate targets
  • Software licences or chart-platform subscriptions
  • Ongoing daily supervision after the four sittings (that can be discussed separately)

How it runs

  1. Sitting 1 — Audit. We walk through how you currently prepare and record. Gaps in timing, level selection, and journal honesty are named plainly.
  2. Sitting 2 — Session frame. You draft a morning plan for a live or replayed session; we stress-test invalidation and size language.
  3. Sitting 3 — Journal loop. Your completed journal entries are opened side by side with the plan. We rewrite columns that do not feed decisions.
  4. Sitting 4 — Own the loop. You run a full plan-and-journal cycle under observation; we leave you with a finished template.

Sittings are usually fortnightly so you have room to trade and write between them. A compressed weekly cadence is available if you can commit the homework.

Duration and place

The standard block spans roughly six to eight weeks. Meet at Level 11, 100 Bishopsgate, or join by video with shared chart screen. You need a quiet desk and your charting package open.

Preparation

Before Sitting 1, email three recent charts with your annotations and one week of journal (even if messy). Name the sessions you typically trade and any hard constraints (work hours, instrument limits).

Pricing basis

£1,280 for the four-sitting block. Additional review sittings after the block are available at the single-sitting rate on the rates page. A 30% deposit confirms your dates; the balance is due before Sitting 1.
